Compostable Cold Cups - 16 oz
[2103]
$7.25

This is the standard drinking cup for picnics and parties. The cups are hand-washable so they can be used again and again. Although they look like traditional plastic, the cups should not be included in plastics recycling as they are considered a contaminant in traditional plastic recycling streams. One package contains 50 cups sealed in a plastic bag. If you are looking for a smaller drinking cup, see our 9-oz cold cups. If you are serving hot beverages, see our hot cups. "Grown" and made in the USA.

Planning a zero-waste event? Please see our blog with tips for planning a zero-waste event. This item is available by the case (1000 count) in this and other sizes and may be available by the sleeve in other sizes. Please contact us for availability and pricing.

Materials: NatureWorks® Poly Lactic Acid (PLA), a resin derived entirely from corn

Features:

  • Clear bio-plastic
  • Classic party drink cup
  • Certified compostable in a commercial or municipal composting facility

Note to composters: These cups are certified compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) for composting in a municipal or commercial composting facility. The bioplastic requires high heat and humidity to break down, so may not break down in a home compost pile. We'd love to hear about any experiences with composting these cups in a home setting. Please do not include with traditional plastics for recycling.
