Made by Me! bugs can be decorated as cars (as in a VW bug) or insects (as in a ladybug). They come to you in pieces: one bug body, four axels, and four wheels. Your child puts it together and decorates it in her own style (completely optional, of course). For children ages 3 and up (contains small parts). See also the Made by Me! truck. Made in Vermont.

Note to composters: The bottom of the bug body is stamped with the name of the manufacturer and the date made, to comply with Federal law. We recommend sanding this off if the bug ends up in the compost. Of course, depending on how a child decorates the bug, the finished product may or may not be compostable. The manufacturer recommends using glue to stabilize the axels. We aren’t excited about putting glue in the compost, so we made our truck without glue and it works just fine.
